Chapter 13 - Herb

The words in my head do not just spill out onto this page. The weird thing is that as I start writing, the thoughts start to come together. Invoking a “muse” of some sorts to write is a great way to think of it. The muse of choice for this today would be maybe “Tom Petty” or “Tupac.” Both have passed on semi - recently depending on when you are reading this. ;)
The goal in writing this book is to educate and entertain. The timeline of “cannabis/herb” laws is very important for the education part. The entertaining part is the non - stop crookery involved in the industry. Not only the thieves, but the whole system of law organized to take advantage of the young men that they apprehend with nonsensical laws. I guess that is not an entertaining thought. I was thinking of the dark humor of “Benny Blanco” from Whiting, IN when I said entertaining back a few thoughts ago.
This was a cannabis connoisseur from back in my late teens, early twenties. Later on in life he ended up not to be the person that I had hoped him to be.

My pen is babbling nonsense today, but I do not have to apologize because I am putting in the work. The characters in the cannabis world are unique and enjoyable if you protect yourself and are not naive. Unfortunately, I was pretty naive a few years back. I organized a fairly large transaction with a less than righteous “friend” of mine and I lost about 25k worth of someone else’s “footballs.” This situation was my own fault for being too hasty or anxious to make money. When things seem too good to be true, they usually are.
The masses have woken up to the BS with cannabis laws, but the people in the GBMNT just use it as smokescreen nowadays. The subjugation or tyranny will be through the “tele - screen” just as “Orwell” predicted in his book 1984. They will let the masses use their drugs, but control them through the squares that they hold in front of their faces. In reality, they are rectangles (iphone), but you get my drift. They are boxes, fours, Hegelian dialectics, traps.
Herb/Weed can be used for all sorts of wonderful things, but it can also be used for…

…terrible things. My belief is that if you use other things in nefarious ways, you will do the same with “herb.” The good is what I would like to focus on. :) Growing the plant was a practice that really makes this clear, at least for me.
The beauty in growing any living thing on this planet is unexplainable. Cannabis is an easy to grow plant. The beauty of the produce of the female plant is also unexplainable. Nobody knows or has studied the real/true benefits that can be harnessed from this “weed.” We have a huge runway for ideas. Cannabis/hemp/marijuana will be used for books, building materials, oils, and all sorts of seemingly unrelated areas. My mind can not conceive of the plentiful avenues that this fibrous beast of a crop can help. The future of cannabis is bright. Smoking its fruit will be always a favorite of mine, but I believe that is the tip of the iceberg.
My son Max turns seventeen tomorrow and I am not concerned if he smokes or abstains his whole life. Some things are not for everyone. The world is so dynamic, you only need to observe for yourself!
