This is an upbeat Monday for me. An article came out today about Trump wanting to get Marijuana rescheduled from a schedule 1 to a schedule 3 under the Controlled Substance Act. Nothing has been confirmed, but the CEO of Scott’s Miracle-Grow, James Hagedorn, claimed Trump privately committed “multiple times” since taking office to rescheduling cannabis.
My case will be a lot less important if this happens. It may even be dropped as it should have already been. The Controlled Substance Act is ridiculous and is very antiquated. It was put in place in 1970. It is all about control as always. The people who enacted this lumped cannabis in with heroin, LSD, and ecstasy. The laws in place that were set over five decades ago need to be revised. I would argue cannabis laws should be rescinded, but I will take what I can get.
Cannabis used to be a big part of my life. I smoked weed almost daily and enjoyed it. However, since I got out of prison I have been drug tested for Marijuana by a pre-trial officer who ensures the court that I am not using it. My goal was to work in the Cannabis industry as it blossomed. Now, I just want my freedom. These people have been working to control me since late 2022, or even 2016…

if you wanted to be technical. This case is an example of how these agents of the state do not think for themselves. They just do as they are told. I do not know who the pressure is coming from to continue this nonsensical case, but I suspect it has something to do with Milan Kesic. He is somebody who stands to benefit from my demise.
The people in the DEA know that weed is not a drug that can be stopped. It is part of the american culture now. So many states have made it legal, yet our federal Gubment thinks they are controlling things. The states are supposed to have the right to decide what they believe should be lawful or illegal. That is how our constitution was set up. Now, our feds think they are in charge of the states. The states are acting like underlings. Hopefully Trump gets something done soon to help this situation with Cannabis. The citizens of the U.S. have already made up their minds that cannabis is here to stay regardless of laws.
Seven years before I was born Richard Nixon signed the (CSA) into law. This was the kickoff of the “War on Drugs.” Weed was targeted because of its association with anti-establishment groups and political dissent. Anti-war groups were also “pot-heads” and peace freaks.

As if loving peace is a bad thing! The war machine never stops. People who smoke weed or use cannabis are in general pretty chill. They do not like killing people like war-mongers. A “peace-freak” will be a badge of honor one day.
How many congress members do you think there are that use cannabis? I bet there are about 5% to 10% or so that use it, but would never admit it because it is federally illegal. These people are supposed to be serving the public by making and rescinding laws for the interest of the people. That is not what they are doing. They have lost focus of what they are supposed to be doing. These “representatives” are not representing us! They are trying to control us.
The inspiring thing that gives me optimism is that day by day they are losing control. They do not even see it, but the main control being the U.S. dollar is sunsetting. It is in the final 3 innings. They are trying to hold on, but it is too late. Bitcoin Genie is out of the bottle and changing everything. Being in the government should not be as lucrative as it has gotten. It used to be a voluntary position. Things have really gotten out of hand. Nature is healing as always though.
